Lanceolate, 30 to 60cm in length, 2.5 to 5cm in width, with an attenuate apex and a cordate base, hairless in both sides; smooth leaf sheaf; short rigid ligule, about 2mm in length.
Flowers:
Panicle, large and soft, 30 to 60cm in length; ramous, slender, lack of hair, ramification from the bottom reaches 30cm; spikelet about 1.5 to 1.8mm, with about 2mm short stipe; flume is transparent, about 1/5 to 1/4 the length of spikelet's.
Fruits:
Caryopsis is oblong, about 0.5mm in length.
Blossom:
Late winter and early spring.
