The whole plant reaches 3 m.
Leaf:
Leaf with the petiole reaches 1 m in length, fuscous squama on the dorsal face; segments no more than 10 pairs, broad oblong, 30 to 45 cm in length and 5.5 to 12 cm in width, with a truncate and sinus apex, veins 4 to 13, ventral side bottle-green, dorsal side gray, squamulate speckles on veinlet and the disperse filamentose squama.
Flowers:
Spadix pendulous, with 2 to 4 branches, 8 to 10 cm in length while in blossom and around 18 cm in length while fructification; pedicel 2 to 3 cm in length; stamen flower: 2 rows on each side,
12 to 18 flowers on each row; synobasic sepal, 3.5 to 4.5 mm in length, narrow ovate oblong.
Fruits:
Fusiform, with fibrous ectocarp, 1.5 to
2 cm in length and 7 to 9 mm in width, with conspicuous stripes.
