The whole plant reaches 5 to 25 meters; twigs with yellow pubescence or without hairs.
Leaf:
Around 20 to 30 cm in length; leaflet 10 to 16 pieces, coriaceou, opposite and alternate, oblong, 9 to 18cm in length and 4 to 7 cm in width, with obtuse or acuminate apex, base bias, cuneate on one side and round on the other side, glabrous on other faces, dark red while dried, lateral vine 8 to 12 in each side.
Flowers:
Panicle, on the apex of the twig, erect, 12 to 15 cm in length, covered by adpressed fulvous pubescence; short pedicel; cotyloid calyx, split into file lobes, covered by pubescence; petal 5, oblong, 5 to 6 mm in length, around 2 mm in width, white, covered by rufous pubescence; stamen truncate or with sinuous obtuse teeth, 8 anther, oblong; tubular disc , with obtuse teeth, yellow beaklike hair on the apex; ovate 3 loculus.
Fruits:
Capsule is pyriform, around 4 cm in diameter; seeds oblong, castaneous, around 2.5 cm in length, with aril.
