The whole plant could reach 70cm in height; leaves on the lower caulis last the winter.
Leaf:
is lanceolate and linear, 9cm to 19 cm in length and 8mm to 15mm in width, with acuminate apex and amplexicaul sheathing stipules.
Flowers:
Terminal raceme is 7cm to 16cm in length, with branches sometimes, flowers not densely clustered, tens at the most; Bracts are wide triangular, surround the rachis in the base; flowers is white with light red in colour, could reach 6cm in diameter, the tip of the labellum is rose red and the base of it is yellow; middle sepal is oblong lanceolate, about 2.7cm in length and 6 mm in width; petal is obovate spathulate in shape, about 2.7cm in length, width for the top is about 1cm, with near acute tip and attenuate base; labellum is wide obovate wedgy, about 3cm in length and 2.5 mm in width, top thrice divided, with four crest ridge, middle segment is orbicular, porrect, tip twice light divided, near trungate, edge with anomalous orbicular tooth, side segment is oval, with muticous top; column is about 1.5cm in length, anther sac with tooth on it. Bloom in summer and autumn.
